When he’s not busy running around, chasing chickens and playing with anyone or anything he can find, he’s right there asking for chin scratches and attention. He holds a special place in my heart, being my favorite cow’s very first calf. My husband has to remind me daily that we can’t keep him, haha. Meet the most friendly calf EVER. Pistol is a social butterfly. She spends her days following us around, licking our legs and soaking in all the neck scratches. She is currently going through the "awkward" stage of losing her calf hair and growing in beautiful shiny long black hair... but even with her current state- she is a FAVORITE at our events. She is so sweet and loves to be loved. I have taken so long to post her, because it will be hard to say goodbye to this lovebug. Photo above is from when she was a couple weeks old. Updated photo coming soon! Pistol will be weaned and ready to go to her new home at the end of April.

CALF SALE INFORMATION

For any questions, or to reserve a calf email LuckyBluRanch@gmail.com. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Before leaving, each calf will undergo a health check and brand inspection. Please refer to individual listings for details on when each calf will be ready for its new home—most will be available after weaning, which typically occurs around 4 months of age. Delivery may be available for an additional fee, depending on location and scheduling.

This girl is as fertile as they come! I swear she could sneeze and get pregnant haha. Whiskey is very submissive to bulls and easy to breed (even for our micro bull). She is an incredible mama that has always gone through labor at night, without us knowing, and we walk out to a beautiful, clean, healthy and fluffed up little calf. Her calves are beautiful & most recent shown in the images (HighPark bull calf & yellow Highland heifer) That being said, she is NOT a pet- even though she will take treats. She prefers to not be touched and is a very protective mama. She will protect and take care of her calf. She is incredible for a breeding program, but would not be the right fit if you want a highland to pet and love on. She is currently open and ready to breed.
